Eastern Europe

Bulgarian border
Sarajevsko Brewery, Sarajevo, Bosnia Kiddy ride, Plovdiv, Bulgaria

It seems that the less I know about an area, the more I enjoy it. Rather than seeking specific landmarks and experiences, I get to explore and discover fun surprises. I decided to go on a tour through Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Turkey knowing very little about the area. It ended up being one of my favorite legs of my big adventure.

Sarajevo, Bosnia
Sofia, Bulgaria from a hotel window
Asian side of Istanbul from water
European side of Istanbul from water
Blue Mosque, Istanbul
Istanbul by the water
Signage and crosshair graffiti in Belgrade, Serbia
Belgrade, Serbia
Metalwork in Sarajevo, Bosnia
Bridge in Mostar, Bosnia

Also, check out the wonderful "Traveler's Show and Tell" on Byteful Travel, which was kind enough to feature my little post on Ravenna.
